Keith, 73, died May 6, 2010, at his home in Omak, Washington, following a lengthy illness. He was born June 28, 1936, in Mackay, Idaho, and graduated from Twisp High School

Keith served in the US Navy and worked for more than 30 years for the Forest Service, including being a smokejumper and Fire Management Officer. He jumped 1963-64 and 1970-71 at NCSB.
