The Second: SMOKEJUMPER REUNION SILENT AUCTION ITEMS: Bring your cash and your plastic. This is just a great collection of items donated by smokejumpers and partners of smokejumpers. At the top of the list isa $4000 Retail Pennsylvania Amish Hickory Bedroom Set, a Custom DC-3 model, a Hmong Musket, a .270 rifle, a 12 guage shotgun, a Rhuana knife, 2 beautiful smokejumper quilts, custom metal smokejumper wings, a custom smokejumper golf bag, several quality books, great selection of quality wine, x cut saws, fly rods, fly boxes with flies, prints, cedar wishing well, custom fly rod holders, air lock belt buckle, custom painting, stained glass, shirts, bear and wolf paw casts, and on.on.on.on. Four Partner companies have donated $500 each to help in purchasing items. They are Minuteman Aviation, Leading Edge Aviation, Neptune Aviation, and Bighorn Aviation. These companies either provide smokejumper airplanes, air tanker support for firefighting, or helicopter support for firefighting. All four have been assisting smokejumpers for several years and give strong support to the program.
