Frank, 87, died October 31, 2016, in Paonia, CO. He graduated from Winthrop High School and jumped at NCSB 1948-50. He received a football scholarship to Puget Sound College where he also pitched on the baseball team. Frank was drafted into the Army during the Korean Way and was stationed in Germany.

After his discharge he worked for the American Chrome company in Nye, Montana, and later the Climax Mine in Leadville, Colorado, where he worked until his retirement in 1981
