Robert E. Reed ( McCall 1946 )

Bob died July 4, 2000, of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 76. He was born in Seattle and moved to Boise as a youth. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army in Europe and earned the Bronze Star. After the war, he jumped at McCall before earning a degree from the University of Washington.

Bob then worked for the Seattle Post-Intelligence until 1958 and was a press secretary for Gov. Albert Rosellini from 1958 to 1962. He then joined the Bonneville Power Administration in Portland as a public information officer and held that position until retiring in 1990. He had lived in Woodland, Wash., since 1972 and was a free-lance writer and photographer. His works have been published in various Northwest magazines and newsletters.
