Retired USAF Lt. Col. Wayne Finney died March 15, 2024, in Lake Forest Park, Washington. He was born in Hamilton, Montana, November 17, 1940. Wayne graduated from the University of Montana and began pilot training in the USAF and was stationed at Great Falls, Montana, with the Montana Air National Guard. In retirement he and his wife, Sharon, ran a Bed & Breakfast in Great Falls. Among Wayne's proudest achievements was founding a public library in Lakeside, Montana. After retiring from both the hospitality business & real estate sales, Wayne & Sharon moved to Polson to facilitate accessing Montana Grizzly football games which they attended regularly. Wayne jumped at Missoula 1960, 62 and 1963.
