Loren, 40, died July 22, 1978, in an auto accident east of Haugan, Montana. He was born December 7, 1937, in the state of Washington. At the time of his death, he was an appraiser for the USFS and living in Butte, Montana. He was survived by his wife, Judith Carol Jaderlund. Loren jumped at NCSB during the 1958 season and is buried in Chelan, Washington.
