U.S. Army Private William R. Goetschius, 23, died November 20, 1962, at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, of blood poisoning. He was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and graduated from Ramsey H.S. and attended Paul Smith College and Utah State University prior to entering the army. He jumped at Missoula 1961-62.
