Gene, 28, died September 11, 1955, while acting as an aerial observer in a plane that went down about 45 miles southeast of Kalispell, MT. He was born January 31, 1927, in Hope, Idaho. Gene was buried in Coloma, California. He jumped at Missoula 1951-52, 54-55 and McCall 1953.
